The World Computer Sculpture Garden exhibition is an art show held entirely on Ethereum that I suspect later art historians will point back to it as a significant early touchstone in networked creativity.
Curated by 0xfff and opened on Nov. 12th, the exhibition highlights Ethereum’s potential as a cultural environment where art can live autonomously.
Yet the show also uses the network to deliver itself as a dynamic artwork that will evolve over time indefinitely.
In other words? This show is an artistic smart contract and a showcase of artistic smart contracts, all fully onchain.
For today's post, let's catch you up on the pieces included in this exhibition and why I think this effort is special! 👇

CryptoPunks are Ethereum’s OG collectibles, and the secondary market around ‘Punks functions as a sort of proxy for the wider NFT ecosystem.
If ‘Punks trading is slow, it’s typically a quieter time along the NFT front. If ‘Punks trading is fast and furious, it’s a sign interest is heating up around the top NFT collections in general.
For instance, there were 38 ‘Punk sales yesterday, the second-highest amount of daily trades we’ve seen in 2024. That’s bullish!
So as things seem to be revving up, it’s worth tracking ‘Punks sales activity so you can gauge the pulse of the NFT market at any given time in the months ahead. And for that, an excellent platform to check out is punks.wtf.
The site offers a sales dashboard, a Punkometer sentiment tracker, a trending attributes tool, and beyond. If you’re looking to keep your eyes peeled here, then this is definitely a great free resource you’ll want for your analytical toolbox.
