Difficulty increased by 4% over the weekend – a marginal jump in comparison to the radical rise in the Bitcoin price.

With each passing day Blockware’s hashrate thesis is becoming more vindicated.

Growth in mining difficulty is not, cannot, and will not keep up with growth in Bitcoin price. Mining profit margins will grow significantly in 2025 – as they have in Q4 2024.

This machine measures the BTC “Breakeven” price of different Bitcoin miners based on an electricity rate of $0.078/kWh. Another way to think about it is that these lines represent the price that miners are ‘dollar cost averaging’ at.
