With Donald Trump now sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, crypto advocates are waiting for him to follow through on the many promises he made to boost the industry.
But crypto was notably absent from his administrationās list of priorities, at least on day one. Neither his inaugural speech nor his initial āAmerica First Prioritiesā executive actions mentioned digital assets, a strategic Bitcoin reserve, or the overturning of the SECās controversial rule āSAB 121,ā as the crypto community had hoped for.
Also absent from the flurry of executive orders was Trumpās promised āday oneā pardon for Ross Ulbricht, creator of the Silk Road dark web marketplaceāthough members of Trumpās staff, and Elon Musk, reiterated that it was in the offing.
