🌊 Culture News: OpenSea Nixes Rumors The CEO denies airdrop eligibility claims.
🛑 OpenSea CEO Shuts Down Speculation. OpenSea CEO Devin Finzer dispelled the latest wave of rumors circulating about OpenSea airdrop eligibility, urging users to trust only @opensea and @openseafdn for official updates.
🖥️ Arweave’s AO Mainnet Goes Live. Arweave launched AO, its decentralized computing platform built on its storage infra stack. The “hyperparallel computer” is focused on all things onchain computation, and its $AO token is now transferable.
🎴 Duper’s Ace of Spade Mint. Strategy game Duper is launching its Genesis Ace of Spade NFT collection tomorrow, Feb. 11th, on Abstract. The 999-supply drop grants VIP access, private playtests, and priority for future drops.
I was originally drawn to crypto as a creator, and I’ve stuck around ever since because of all the amazing experiments and possibilities here.
That said, I totally agree that Ethereum and Base are incredible tech for creatives. Lots of apps build on Base, and Base builds on Ethereum. This is a scene you want to know your way around if you’ve got projects or creations you’re keen to release.
Relatedly, I’ve had some artist friends recently ask me about apps on Base that they should explore. I did some thinking and came up with the 25 projects I would want to know about if I was getting started on Base today.
