SEC chair Gary Gensler is proving equally unyielding, warning crypto firms that the “runway is getting awfully short” for compliance. But Gensler’s SEC is coming under fire from a different direction; members of the U.S. House of Representatives are investigating how the regulator investigated the collapse of crypto exchange FTX, and the timing of its former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried’s arrest.
