While new data this week shows that U.S. firmsā share of Bitcoin mining is growing, topping 40%, analysts tell Decrypt that trying to take over all mining on the decentralized network is not only highly unlikely, but almost certainly impossible.
āThe U.S. lacks the electrical infrastructure, physical computing hardware (mining machines), and sufficiently low energy costs to become the only place for mining all remaining Bitcoin,ā said Compass Mining Chief Revenue Officer CJ Burnettāthough his firm is excited about Trumpās āeagernessā for the industry.
