Good morning, friends!

Wow. What a day. Can you believe we’re here? This tiny newsletter has grown into a book!!!

I’ve been waiting for today since the first time I wrote, illustrated, and bound a book with string at 6 years old.

But today’s email is not about me. It’s about you. In the acknowledgements section of the book, I write:

To the readers of The Profile who have supported me for years. I often say that The Profile is the best community on the planet because it’s full of curious, intelligent, and overall amazing humans. None of you are shy about giving me your opinions, criticisms, and feedback on a weekly basis, and you are responsible for helping improve the quality of my work.

Without you, The Profile wouldn’t exist, this book wouldn’t exist, and my career as an independent writer wouldn’t exist. Your kind emails have carried me through some really dark times, and your suggestions for improvement have allowed me to grow in ways I never thought possible.

So here we are! And today, I hope we can all celebrate together! Take a photo with the book, share it with me, and most importantly, let me know what you think. It will mean the world to me.
