The Texas legislation that might curtail incentives for Bitcoin miners if it gets approved has caused a lot of fuss. Naturally, that means it’s a great time for other states to swoop in with miner-friendly legislation. A new Arkansas bill would make it illegal to discriminate against crypto mining businesses. Keep in mind, Texas isn’tactually the largest state for Bitcoin mining in the U.S.. That title very comfortably belongs to Georgia, which accounted for 31% of the country’s hashrate as of December 2022.
