There’s nothing micro about the way MicroStrategy (MSTR) been gobbling up Bitcoin. The company’s stock saw massive volume as its share price hit an all-time high in sync with Bitcoin, which came close to breaking past $95,000.
MSTR also boosted its convertible note offering to $2.6 billion after the $1.75 billion it announced earlier this week wasn’t enough to satiate investors’ appetite. Keep in mind, the software company already has more than $30 billion worth of Bitcoin in its coffers.
Next up: Recruitment. Michael Saylor is set to make a 3-minute orange pill presentation in front of Microsoft’s leadership. He’ll be speaking in three weeks on behalf of an activist shareholder who wants to convince the top brass it’s time to start buying Bitcoin.
