Sure, if you look at the legal outlook for Ripple Labs (and Ripple-linked XRP), there could still be more turbulence on the way.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has said it’s not pulling any punches in appealing the partial win a judge handed the company in 2023 when it decided that XRP sold to retail customers did not qualify as unregistered securities.
Rather, the double-digit gains that XRP is seeing today are largely thanks to meme coins, like ARMY, and rising optimism that the SEC will eventually boost investment in the token by billions when it approves XRP ETFs.
